About

About Roll On Call

Field service runs on hand-offs: from caller to office, office to technician, technician back to office, and finally to the customer's payment. Roll On Call exists to make every one of those hand-offs clean.

What we believe

How we think about field service software

One record per job

The call, the customer, the schedule, the technician's notes and the payment belong together. Splitting them across apps is where details get lost.

The office is the control tower

Dispatchers make dozens of judgment calls a day. Software should show them everything in one view and then get out of the way.

Technicians need less, not more

The person in the truck needs the address, the history and the next step. Restricted technician logins show exactly that.

Done means paid

A job is not finished when the tools go back in the van. It is finished when the invoice is paid, so payments live on the job.

Operator-built

Built around problems you can see on any service day

Roll On Call was shaped by the daily friction of running field work, not by a feature checklist.

  1. 01

The 7 a.m. call nobody wrote down

Calls taken from the truck end up on a scrap of paper. Every call becomes a lead or job on the record.

  2. 02

The gate code in an old text thread

Access details live in someone's phone. Service locations keep them for every future visit.

  3. 03

The whiteboard that only one person reads

The day is planned in the office and lost in the field. The dispatch board and technician app share one view.

  4. 04

The invoice written on Friday night

Paperwork waits until the week is over. Invoices come from the completed job and card payment runs through Stripe.

Who it is for

Roll On Call is built for trades that go to the customer: locksmiths, plumbers, HVAC and electrical contractors, garage door and towing companies, landscapers, cleaners and many more. Most of these businesses start with a phone, a notebook and a group text. That works until it doesn't, usually around the third technician or the first busy season.

We designed the product for that moment. Solo covers the owner-operator. Team adds the office person and the crew, with a technician app, business phone and SMS. Pro is for operations with several dispatchers and territories. The same record sits underneath all three, so growing does not mean switching tools.

What we will not do

We will not invent statistics, customer logos or partner badges. Features are labeled as available, coming soon or planned on our ecosystem page, and our security page lists the controls that are actually in place.
